Exploring Brand Guides

Today I took a look at two different brand guides.

Starting off with Nike

The Nike Football Brand Guide places a strong emphasis on using the distinctive swoosh logo consistency and precision. It also highlights the usage of bold, brilliant colors and crisp writing to reflect the brands emphasis on performance, power, and innovation. The material in the guide is easily comprehensible due to its simple structure, strong visual hierarchy, created by a large photographs and powerful headers. Nike has tight guidelines when it comes to using its branded goods. These guidelines guarantee that the logo never changes and that the color scheme and typography are the same in all media.

Moving on to Lululemon.

In contrast, Lululemon's brand identity guide communicates a upscale minimalism that is consistent with the businesses dedication to balance health and well-being. the stlye guide emphasizes lifestyle, driven photography that embodies the brands, luxury positioning, and mindfulness, along with simple typography and a striking subtle color scheme. It emphasizes how crucial it is to keep the authorized color scheme the Lululemon logo in the font selection consistent. Throughout the book, Lululemon's mission of "elevating the world through mindful movement and personal wellbeing" is brought back up, highlighting the brands commitment to mental and physical wellness.
